What we collect
When you register we collect your name, email address, phone number, country and town or city, and province and district where these apply. A photograph and your birthday day and month are optional.
How we use it
We use your details to confirm your membership, issue your member number and digital card, deliver member editions and invite you to Society activities. We keep private member deliveries separate from public announcements.
Birthdays and photographs
We only recognise your birthday publicly if you have given us permission. Your photograph is used on your membership card and is not published without your agreement.
Your membership card
The QR code on your card carries no contact details. It is used only for authorised verification of membership.
Accounts and access
The Society does not create member accounts or passwords. When you need to update your details we send a secure link to your registered email address.
Communication preferences
You choose which messages you receive when you register, and you can change or withdraw those preferences at any time by contacting us.
Payments
Payments are processed by our payment provider. The Society does not store your card or mobile money credentials.
